The Shrek
Hey all you guys out there in bass land, took the plunge last week and decided to put the feelers out about selling my bass. Within a week I had sold mine and bought a replacement, posted mine away and received my new bass, and dealt with two great blokes(andytravis) and (NJE). I also have had every bass question and inquiry answered, drooled over all the bass porn and enjoyed all the correspondence that goes on. Actually I am spending way to much of my life here! Cheers to all you bass players of the world WHAT A GREAT PLACE THIS IS! Michael

Musicman20
Definitely agree, Got some awesome advice, sold my items to some awesome chaps and bought some from some awesome chaps. Recently Nigel and Clarky, oh and Iamapirate. Everyone I have met has been very friendly and 100% genuine. Its totally different to the dreaded ebay! My GAS has got a LOT worse though...but I dont mind that. Ive tried lots of different styles of playing recently too, due to all of basschats influences. Its a great place to be! Actually this place is a haven of goodwill and of course `BASSNESS'. I'm personally proud to be here and there is a very real feeling of `family' - long may it continue! steve-soar
Basschat is a haven of care and warmness in a world of sh*t. I love it.
xilddx
BC truly represents the potential of the internet forum to bring people together. It's a wonderful place to be, and I really need to limit it to my evening browsing. I've tried to stop myself coming here while I'm at work, but I find it impossible. There should be laws regulating this sh*t, it is having a negative impact on my work! I love it here, the water is lovely
retroman
Me 3 I'm still a relative newby to this site, but it's great, and I have learned a lot from it. It's great to know that if I am not sure about something, I can log on, fire the question, and normally have a few responses in an hour or so Only met one BC'er so far, Mr LushUK, and what a great chap Looking forward to meeting more of you in the future, maybe at a bass bash?? I'm not the greatest player in the world, but I can sure lay down some solid bass lines Oh, and a big thumbs up to the mods, who I have noticed run this large site very efficiently. Top marks chaps
The Shrek
Whoops I think I've started something here It's amazing how just browsing on this forum can bring on a bout of serious GAS. I never really suffered this complaint before and the only release for bad gas is to throw some money at it hoping that will be the cure!
