Clarky
Have put Thomastiks back on my DB, replacing a set I bought to learn slap - the latter are up FS The E and A are Innovation Rockabilly black tape-wound (together retail at just over £40 http://www.stringexpress.co.uk/dbass.htm), while the D and G are black Weedwackers. They are barely used as I found the DB virtually unplayable (I recently over-hauled the bridge to sort this out). The Weedwackers are slightly 'chewed' at the ends where they were tied and wrapped around the tuning posts - they are, however, absolutely fine and flawless between nut and bridge and have stretched nicely (so you won't have weeks of re-tuning horribly flat strings every day or two) I haven't got the original packaging but will post them in some form of protective pouch/box. How about £25 posted for the lot? Thats about half the new price for what really are barely used strings Edited April 24, 2010 by Clarky
Clarky
Price cut to £22 posted, from £25. Worth it for the as-new Ovation E and A strings alone
