Metalmoore
Well i am in the final steps of finishing off the body. I am buying 600 and 1000 wet and dry sandpaper off of eBay just now and was wondering what polish to use. I have used White primer, Daphne Blue, Clear Gloss Lacquer nitro spray cans from Manchester guitar tech. More info from the link in my sig. Metalmoore
Come on. Someone must know how to make a mirror shine and what product to use.
Moos3h
As long as the paint is not damaged (lacquer flaking or crazing) then Autoglym Super Resin Polish, available from Halfords for about a tenner, produces very nice results.
EBS_freak
What you really need is a polishing wheel Clover's polishing system is great at getting good for home results.
bumnote
You will find that the laquer will make the finish a lot more shiny. I had to flat the colour coat with 1200 and then apply the lacquer. allow to dry for several weeks and you can use 1500 wet and dry and then rubbing compound, and then a final polish. Im using car sprays, and those are the instructions pretty much on the tin.
