Musicman20 Posted October 25, 2009 Posted October 25, 2009 I have both. Main difference is the Aguilar is more powerful overall. It doesnt have the Ampeg-ish type grit, it has a different style of distortion, but very very good! So...owning both is a good move. The TH is really good just as a preamp as well, and then you can whack on the grit. Both very good, TH more versatile though. Quote

mildmanofrock Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 I didn't really get on with the Tonehammer. Didn't do anything to my sound and the tubey overdrive options were horrible to my ears. I've settled with a Sansamp Paradriver now. Quote
