AndyTheBassBison Posted October 26, 2009 Share Posted October 26, 2009 Hi fellow bassists, I'm Andy, a long-time forum viewer who has just got round to signing up (partly because I need to sell off a lot of equipment to fund my first rig!). This forum has reinforced the idea that bassists are the level-headed and organised members of bands - which is fine with me! It seems like you have a great community here. I have been playing bass for about 4 years and guitar for about 6 (although I primarily play bass nowadays as it is superior to guitar!). I have played bass in various bands in the north-east of England, currently I am part of Runwells (terrible name I know) who are based in Newcastle and Hartlepool- www.runwells.co.uk I currently play a Fender Jazz MIM and an Eastwood Classic 4 through an antique Peavey keyboard amp with a single 18 inch speaker.
