A bit of a rare bird in these parts. Personally I think the Parker Fly shape suits the guitar far better than the bass (I have a P38 and it is a lovely comfortable, good sounding guitar), though I'd love to try the bass version.

I love the shape of the guitars (I have a deluxe) but for me, I don't think that they got the bass shape right. It looks too ....... fat ..... to me! I'm sure that they play superbly though.

The Fly guitars are gorgeous, and if I was a guitard I'd have one in a heartbeat.

The Fly basses are, to my mind, utterly fugly. Golchen's right, they look lardarsed.

I have a P-44 guitar and it's a great instrument...I'd love to try one of the basses, but they're a bit too pricey for me at the moment.

Contrary to quite a few people, I think the basses look quite good!

I tried one a few years ago at a guitar show in London...

The Carbon Fibre neck was lovely and it balanced well on a strap, sound wise it was difficult to tell with all the noise going around but it's active with jazz type pick ups and it sounded like it would do the job. I think they stopped making them since then but the PB series looks pretty much the same. But as everyone else has said, damn - they're ugly. Love the guitars, if I had the cash I'd probably have one Flys....marvelous.

Love the look, but I tried one a few years ago (carbon fibre neck) and it was great except I couldn't stop the upper body sticking into my ribs - sitting or standing, it was always giving me a poke!

The electronics were interesting..involved Jbass pickups and piezos, but I didn't get on with it enough to work them out.

Very disappointed - but I'd love to try another one.
