Hi!

Selling my Sabre due to another purchase.
Realized that there was a reason for selling my SR5. It's not my sound, I miss a couple of strings and I look ridiculous with one way up under my chin. :)
Made in -87. Great cond. Sounds and plays great. Low action is no problem as you can see at the pics. Weighs under 4 kilos.
VERY versatile instrument. Can sound like a p-bass (neck pickup) and a stingray (bridge pu) and a couple of other great sounds too. 2-band eq.
Comes with a hardcase so posting it is not a problem.
Here's how it works:

And a couple of pics:

Forgot to take a pic of the backside but no buckle rash and there's a "skunk stripe" on the neck.
More pics can be fixed if asked for.

Would like about 1200€ for it obo.

Greetings/ Jens Westerinen

Indeed.

Can add that these are a bit smaller than a Stingray. Like a Sterling in the proportions. Jazzy-neck and smaller body.

I never knew that. I'll add that to a very long list (of things I never knew). Stingrays feel a bit clumsy to me.

yeah the pickups are ever so slightly smaller too, so you can't replace them without butchering the bass

Luckely there's no need to do that. :)
