I bought this head as an introduction to real amps- it was so much better than that. It has a lovely warm tone, I'm selling it for £160 or a trade for a lightweight cab, or some effects, or a laptop, or something else I might want, I'm flexible. :) It runs at 700w at 2ohms, or 475w at 4ohms, I'm selling it with 1 cab lead and a power lead thrown in.

+1

This particular example used to be mine, and I still miss it occasionally. Brute force in a black box.

These are great workhorse amps, it was a billy bargain first time around so surprised it has reappeared.

I have one of these (an also used to have its predecessor the Firebass, the Max is actually a FireB with a new front panel). Made in USA, built like a tank, I've used one 3-4 nights a week for years without a glitch

It went well. :) Thanks for getting back to me quickly, and pulling me out of the you-know-what for tomorrow's gig, mate.
