Minstrel
THIS ITEM IS NOW SOLD. I selling my Phil Jones Bass (PJB) Suitcase combo amplifier. Its in excellent condition, has two channels and produces a great sound. I've used it for jazz, soul and motown gigs. It produces a very clean sound with excellent tone, including the low Cs on my bottom string with ease. The Suitcase is about 2 years old and comes complete with original box, manual and the special tools supplied with it (which I've never used). It's really well built and looks like new. The specification includes:

2 channels with active and passive inputs
Each channel has its own 5 band equaliser (frequencies tailored for bass use) and compressor/limiter
200W into 8 Ohm, 300W in 4 Ohm (e.g. when driving an extension speaker)
Its got output sockets for headphones, balanced line-out, pre-amp out and an extension speaker
The sound is so good, I've even used the second channel to put a keyboard through (with the double bass in the first channel), as it sounded better than the keyboard players combo. One of the best sounding bass amplifiers on the market. I'm looking for £470 or a close offer and the amplifier is in Surrey.
