Original post (with new price put in and some other stuff taken out to avoid confusion)

Hello

With heavy heart, it's time to move this one on.

This is a Warmoth creation which I made earlier this year [2009]. I spared no expense at all on it, and I am too ashamed to say just how much I put into this project.

The basics:
Warmoth Strat body, arctic white, rear routed, alder
Warmoth Strat neck with '59 Roundback shape, maple with ebony 'board, 22 stainless steel jumbo frets, satin finish
Original Floyd Rose, black
EMG 81/85 with metal surrounds
Volume and tone for each pickup (tones are on a concentric pot)
3-way switch
Black hardware

The upgrades:
18v EMG wiring
Huge brass sustain block in FR trem
ESP Arming Adjuster to stabilise the Floyd Rose

The bad bits:
Tiny ding on front, below trem
Small chip in recessed cavity for the trem on the corner
Guitar needs a good setup
There is a high fret (not seated properly) around the 19th fret area which needs fixing

The tone is, as expected, cutting and very, very much suited to metal. The neck is easy to play - not thin like standard shredmonsters, not huge either. Just perfect.

As said above, I put a huge amount of money into this. The guitar is a dream to play, but it is surplus to requirements and is gathering dust.

That's not really my style, but thanks anyway!
I could be interested with a cash adjustment. Pics? More details (wood, scale, sound etc)?
I'll get you pics later (just at work now). 34" scale, MM + J pickups + piezo + 3 band EQ w/passive option. Sounds pretty versatile. Getting a recording interface soon so could get you soundclips. I think the body is mahogany. Maple neck through with a figured maple top that hides the neck through from the front. Ebony fretboard. Transparent red finish.

Here are some pics:

I believe it is a 1981 model. The top and neck and headstock are in good condition for a 30 year old guitar though it has some dings on the bottom edge as you can see in the photo. The brown stuff on the plastic is the original backing paper which can be removed if required.

I'm off out now, but I'll add some more detail about the guitar tomorrow.

Bump for an edit.

I'm not all that interested in trades any more - I have all the basses I need with my Ibanezes and, to be brutally honest, I pretty much have more guitars than I need (but I'd still like a V). I'd much rather people sold their trading stock and bought my Warmoth for cash!
