Hey folks

Anyone know where I can source a Lakland BG pick guard in the UK. I know of some USA based guys but would much prefer to get one more locally than wait on our colonial friends.

I'm after a tort specifically and would be happy to swap a Lakland DJ4 p/g white or black with someone if they were wiling ( I know they are different models but I have 3 for the DJ which came with the bass when I got it and only one for the BG)

Cheers in advance for any help.

I don't know about the UK but - as you perhaps know already - Roger at Jeannie's actually makes the guards for Lakland.

Thanks for that link.

When I ordered my JO5 which is still to come, I spoke to Dan and he has sent it with another guard in addition to the original white. Sunburst and Tort is just a classic that cannot be missed.

Thanks Dave

I've got some from Jeannie's already for the DJ.

I've been given details of Sims who do custom p/g's in the UK.

They seem to know their onions!

I recently got my black PG for my DJ5 from Sims. Good quick service although they insisted i send my original one in so they could make an exact copy. That added £15 on top of the basic cost. Worked out around £45 in total so about the same as Jeannies IIR. Ive had two from Jeannies in the past. Both had issues but i would use them again if i had to .

A +1 for them. I ordered one for mine and got it about a week later - excellent quality too.
