andy67
Yep, me too! Don't know if I'll keep both though - probably not!
bassmansky
no doubt it will get slagged off by the ashdown bashers
andy67
Oh well! Don't see any reason to bash Ashdown - it's all about having choice and as bass players we don't have much! I suppose for me the question of gear comes down to is it workmanlike or a bit of furniture? andy
Cat Burrito
no doubt it will get slagged off by the ashdown bashers
I guess everything comes down to your own experience. For what it's worth everything I have tried by Ashdown has been of really good quality. I'm a big fan of these mini rig set ups and there is a lot to be said for saving your back! I had my head running through a 4x12 Ashdown cab yesterday and it sounded awesome. I've never owned any Ashdown stuff but the last couple of rehearsal studios I've used have stocked them and with good reason it would appear. munkonthehill
andy andy andy, whilst some of us face redundancy I see you flashing the cash hahahaha. the rig looks sweet. not sure if i prefer the ampeg 8x10 though
phatbass787
Nice. How much are they? That would look awesome in the front room! ;-)
andy67
cost is £219, due for release late December. Much prefer the Ampeg 8x10 and V4 rig, however lucky for me this is a Chrissy present. Edited November 2, 2009 by andy67

May have to put one on my list for Santa ;-)
andy67
It's a great price considering the comparable Ampeg micro rig will set you back nearly four times that amount!!
