I use an EA iAmp 800 with my Acme Low B2 and it sounds brilliant. Plenty loud enough for most occassions, but I tend to so big shows with full PA or very small jazz things, but I've never had to turn it up much past halfway.

Well, if you are travelling in the 'states I would advise you pick something up when you are out there. Likely to work out cheaper. The RH450 head may be expensive, but it's worth it.

Err, I did. Bought the RH450. I said that two posts ago.

Got it from Proaudiostar on Ebay - sold as a TC refurb, came to me looking brand new - has been flawless so far.
