p/j pickup wiring problem

I've just finished wiring in my new Wizard pickups on my aerodyne, and after testing have noticed they both work fine in isolation, but when I have both turned up, the open d and g strings are silent. I'm guessing this is a wiring problem with the p pickup but not knowing enough about electronics I'm not sure what I should do to rectify this. Can anyone help?

ok fixed it, p pickup wiring was inverted

I would check the P pickup. This usually happens when you get the wiring inverted.
