rodl2005 Posted November 5, 2009 Posted November 5, 2009 Any idea- I can't get hold of the BP issue- latest one -out here in OZ anyway- with interview with Chris Wolstenholm & his equip. Anyone tell me what they say he's using these days??? PLEASE!!!! Quote
Raggy Posted November 5, 2009 Posted November 5, 2009 Have not read that bit yet, but pretty sure its still the Marshall DBS type stuff. Quote
Urban Bassman Posted November 5, 2009 Posted November 5, 2009 It says that on the album (The Resistance) he used a different bass on every track (he thinks). He doesn't say which bass, which track etc but he names checks these basses; Fender Active Jazz, 73 Jazz (bought from ebay!), 80's Status Headless, A Pedulla, Gibson's Grabber and Ripper. As for amps he says that for all the clean sounds he used an Ampeg STV Vintage reissue and Marshalls for the 'heavy stuff" plus an old 70's Orange bass head. That's about it...not too specific I'm afraid, but I hope it helps Quote
cheddatom Posted November 5, 2009 Posted November 5, 2009 I think live he's still using the DBS stuff. A scan of that article would be great! Quote
