tredders Posted November 5, 2009 Posted November 5, 2009 That's beautiful. I was going to ask what year it is, but can see '1966' on the case - is that right?
gary mac Posted November 5, 2009 Posted November 5, 2009 i so wish I wasn't potless. Good luck with the sale

tredders Posted November 5, 2009 Posted November 5, 2009
Says 68 on the neck.
Erm, yes. How did I miss that? And now I'm on a decent sized monitor, instead of my phone, it clearly doesn't say 1966 on the case, either. Anyway, beautiful bass. I'll get me coat now...
skankdelvar Posted November 5, 2009 Posted November 5, 2009 Sweet Mother of God, I love that bass. (Stands entranced) I remember when you couldn't give Coronados away. Why were we so stupid?

deaver Posted November 7, 2009 Posted November 7, 2009
Sweet Mother of God, I love that bass. (Stands entranced)
Beat me to it again Skank. I've just worked out that if I sell the Eden and the USA P for cash I could afford this. If I bought it I'd let you visit once a month to ogle.
jsixties Posted November 7, 2009 Author Posted November 7, 2009 Welcome to that Deaver, best luck with your sales.

Maybe even give the fretboard some little butterfly kisses and PROFANITY ALERT Of course, 20 years ago I'd not have had it for firewood. How time weighs upon the soul...
jsixties Posted November 10, 2009 Author Posted November 10, 2009 Peter Tork from the Monkees? exactly. ^_^ Also Justin Meldal-Johnsen with Beck and Nine Inch Nails and countless 60's american west coast and r'n'b bands.
jsixties Posted November 11, 2009 Author Posted November 11, 2009 Still available, a good friend of mine and guitar collector told me yesterday that this bass have one of the best Brazilian Rosewood fingerboards he ever saw. More details about tone & playability: The neck is is straight with a slim/medium round, very easy to play. Original frets in very good condition showing only minor wear not dents. The truss rod works perfect. This bass is superb and plays fantastic, extremely resonant with a very low weight.
