TheButler
Hey folks, Right, so my E-string went pop on my P-bass tonight... sort of. The ball of the string is smaller than the hole in the bridge it goes through. I didn't think this is normal? It has little brash washers, so far these have been keeping the string on the right side of the bridge, but tonight the ball went through that 'n all. Any ideas? I am after all a bit nooby when it comes to anything other than gear names.
OutToPlayJazz
That's odd. Sounds as if someone's drilled the hole bigger or something. Easy solution is to get a new bridge. Otherwise, perhaps your E-string was non-standard? For bridges, try here... TheButler
I doubt it would've been drilled, as it was hardly used in the 70's - so i was told anyway. I don't really understand.
