FS/FT: Peavey 5150 MKI

Recommended Posts

Selling this slightly cosmetically challenged Peavey 5150 MKI:

It's previous owner stripped the tolex and painted it with brown varnish/paint. I think it looks quite cool actually, bit more interesting than the black covering they usually have. Sure it would be easy enough to recover though if wanted. It also has a fair few marks and scrapes on the control panel but it's just been serviced and is sounding great. It has Svetlana Winged C 6L6's in the power section which are apparently the best valves for this amp and EHX 12ax7 preamp valves.

Lots of reviews online, one of the classic high gain amps and these MKI versions are becoming increasingly collectable.

£500

You're welcome to come by and try it in Central Bristol through my Marshall 4x12.

Might be interested in trades for bass gear or guitar cabs but would rather cash really.

Hi mate

I am very interested in the amp and just about to get my student loans but haven't got it just yet. Would you accept some kind of sub before I get full amount, like £100 just to keep it for me?. Alternatively, I have Boss BR 1600 spare if you fancy a swap as well as Peavey 412 loaded with Shefields 1200. Thanks for your time.

I live in Plymouth so pickup would be possible
Cheers
