OutToPlayJazz
Nah, Mart. I like the understated Olive Gold better. The Dargie Delight looks like one of those car colours you'd never touch. Or wee.

DAMN nice, I love it!

budget bassist
daaaamn, i'd love me a dargie (not a huge fan of the dargie 2 though), and also i'm pretty sure olive gold is still in production. EDIT: ok looks like i'm wrong... that colour didn't last long Edited November 8, 2009 by budget bassist

OMFG... this shiny and lively colour blows my mind - REALLY. Well, olive-gold wasn't available for a long time, but there are some pics within the EBMM forum that show it's beauty (somewhere in a BigAl thread...) Its all pretty new to me so im not in any position to make an offer as i have no idea what they are worth but if you would like to post a guide price it might help. Its all pretty new to me so im not in any position to make an offer as i have no idea what they are worth but if you would like to post a guide price it might help.
Hi Dave, Well, I don't know 'bout English price levels so all I can do is to refer to prices within Germany (which is where I am from): The olive-golden SR 4 HH sells for 2298 EUR link but I will sell mine for 1700 EUR which is about 26% off for a nice finish that you cannot order anymore. The limited Dargie Delight's are more expansive due to their unique finishes and ebony fretboard with special inlays. So the SR 4 H DD2 sells for 2698 EUR link (please notice mine comes with matching headstock). I'm asking 2100 EUR. This means about 22% off for a limited bass that you cannot order anymore. Just played these new mint basses a couple of times in my livingroom to check their sound Cheers y'all!
