Live Funky Bass solo - slap-tastic fun

Hey - apologies for posting 'another' clip - but this was from my gig the other night (Friday) with my Big Fan band - this is my bass solo from a tune I wrote called 'Push' - we had a trumpet player sitting in with us for this one and he and the sax player set up a great horn line under my solo - then I slapped it for good measure... let me know what you think.

Sounds good to me - my favourite part is the groove at the end, very funky and has a nice strut to it.

Very cool !! Nice melodic phrasing with some tasteful slapping (now there's two words you don't see together too often !!).

Note to self: I really must make the effort to understand jazz more... Full orchestral scores, no problem....jazz trio, uuummm :wacko:

Hey there - it's just an MP3 - if you have installed Quicktime on your computer it should play fine - but with IE being a bit narky when it comes to Apple-orientated software, this site tends to work better with Firefox - if you sign up to the site you can download it for free...
