I advised them that I wasn't a student, and mentioned the basschat link etc - no-one got back to me, so I didn't get to go. A great shame, I was really looking forward to it. I could have walked you in officially :-) It seems the office got a bit buried under a networking / computer crash that day... stuff like that kinda becomes the end of the world and everything else gets shunted way down the priority list....
