The Godin Freeway Classic is another extremely well made solid body electric guitar in the Performance Series that is sonically versatile, easy to play and stunning to look at The foundation of the sound of the Freeway Classic is the Silver Leaf body core (with poplar wings to lighten the overall weight) and the precision fit, extra deep neck pocket. Godin takes more care fitting their necks and meticulously machining their neck pockets than any other manufacturer I have ever come in contact with. Add to this a humbucker/single/humbucker pickup configuration with a clever double-pole 5-way selector switch and you have just about any electric guitar tone known to man!
