Saw her with Seasick Steve a few nights ago, great sound, and a very individual vocal style, very cool, and man, the girl can drink too.
Very nice sound. Songs seem a little repetitive, but I like her playing/singing a lot. The drummer is highly musical as well.
And she uses the same left hand technique as mine - which isn't very pretty, but quite effective.

I like the sound ... and the tune ... the video is a nice find.

Anyone want to hazard a guess at the kind of strings she uses ? That mellow sound is definitely what I'm aiming for ... sounds a bit different to the spiro weichs I'm used to (but I guess it could also be pickup, recording techinique, her technique ... the bass too ...)
