The Burpster
The Ovation is now spoken for by my guitarist ..... And as the GAS for the '89 PRS has been quelled by the owner not having the heart to part ( I can well unsertand this) when I get the dosh for teh Ovation I shall be taking a trip to 'ol Camdon tarn' to get me a Steiny EUB! danbowskill
For those of you that dont know about this bass I've had it for a while now after buying it from the Beedster. It is a shallow bowl (more like a semi accoustic) electric accoustic bass with a piezo pup. It is Cherry cherry burst and is very good, almost mint condition. The gold bits are still gold and there are no marks or dings. I have repaired the lacquer near to the bridge where these are known to crack but it is just a crack in the lacquer and not a structural issue. I have lowered the action and it's shod with GHS nylons so it gives a beautful mellow EUBlike thud. It will come with lots of goodies inc strap, Schallers, HSC and strings as well as normal case candy. This is a reluctant sale but another PRS is beckoning me..... £450 cash please, no trades..... Middle one of the 3 and if you require more pics please PM me with your requirements but please be patient as my dads in hospital, and mums in a home so not around the Mac much.... Please ask any questions, and here is the referance on the Ovation webby......(BTW it's a right hander not like the left hander shown on the Ovation site!) http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...&hl=highway the pickgaurd was custom made by me! I want another PRS = one has to go ! Sadly the Ovation is the one, as at some point in the future that EUB sound I'm after will actually be an EUB!
