It'd be easier for me to leave one DB112 (covered) in my van for band practice. I don't as I worry about the paper cones becoming soft with damp and corrosion in the frame.

What do you reckon. I live in the cold and very damp Lake District.

+1. And leaving it covered won't discourage thieves. Quite the reverse, they'll break in just to see what you've hidden.

Thank you guys it's as I thought and I'll bring em in. Not many thieves where I live though, unless you count the chickens, cows or sheep :)

Chicken's 'll chase you round the yard for a bread scrap.

I must've been lucky then - there have ben times when I couldn't be bothered to carry my gear the 5 feet into the house after a gig. This has been many times over the year so I've been lucky not to have anything damaged.

Perhaps the differerence being that I have brought the stuff in and its sat in the house for the best part of a week so any moisture that may have got into it has evaporated - leaving the gear in a cold van and then transferring it into a warm gig without it sitting for a few hours will probably cause a lot of damage.
