GK 800rb I like em but that price is steep... isn't it?

This amp rates in my all time top 5 amps.

I've owned a couple used ones and I even bought one new about 10 year back for £500 but £550 for a 12 year old amp (even in mint nick) seems a bit steep... or does everyone else rate them highly and that's the going rate?

Tom Barney from Steely Dan seems to think so! Although I am sure his was free. I love them too, and use the 800RB setting for my Viger 5. Just sounds like butter with cream on top and a biscuit base.

Thank you, exactly what I was thinking - way too steep, the 800RB is a classic amp - but half the current GK product run are based on similar circuitry I would guess ( ...700rb 1001rb etc etc).

But, defo a future classic.
