Musky
If I were you I'd be looking to buy second hand. I don't know were you're based, but there's a nice deal on an Ashdown Electric Blue in the for sale section - http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=67505 For the money you've got to spend you can pick up Peavey TNT's or Ashdown Mag's fairly easily, both of which would be an improvement on the combos you're looking at. BassBen
Id recomend the Peavey tnt good little combo, I used one 4 about 3 yrs. I would replace the speaker with a second hand black widow when your funds allow. Then if volume is becoming an issue just add the peavey 2x10 tvx. Fits very nicly on top indeed. You should find something on here, and you can buy with confidence too. Good luck!
phatbass787
If you do want to go new then an Ashdown Five Fifteen falls within budget at £148, 100 watts into a 15" driver should do ya, they sound nice too http://www.soundsliveshop.com/p/Ashdown_Fi...teen/ASH-FIVE15
