Jeff Clyne Remembered

The British Jazz Scene is in mourning at the sudden passing of bassist Jeff Clyne, who died unexpectedly on Monday, November 16, 2009.

Excellent player - believe I saw him with the original Isotope. RIP Jeff.

He was one of the giants when I started playing. The comments on Facebook attest to the very high esteem and affection in which he was held. Rest in peace, Jeff.

Met him once in Cardiff. Impeccable technique and a joy to watch. He will be missed.

I didn't get to see him live at all though certainly remember him from the Isotope days.
