Mecklenburg Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 Following on from a recent thread I'm looking into a getting a pedal to do live loops with. I know nothing about loop pedals apart from boss do the RC20... Any recomendations? I think I'll be wanting to record fairly long phrases and loop them - more than a minute in length, maybe 2 or 3. Thanks! Quote
Dread Bass Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 When i was gobing to get one i was looking at the Akai Headrush as used by Kt Tunstall. Good price good features including delay. Quote
Doddy Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 I use the Boss RC-20XL. I like it-it's easy to use,and it's the best practise tool. Quote

oddjob Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 digitech jamman is great, similar to the RC-20XL, but stores the loops in a removable flash card and lets you use a drum track or any other audio file in your loops. Quote
burno70 Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 I'm selling an Akai Headrush - but I don't think it does 60 second loops. I think the max is around the 30 second mark. The Jamman is probably a better option for this (plus you can import drum loops and samples too!) I think one of those is going in the Marketplace. Quote
steve Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 Rich (ou7shined) is selling his jamman with an additional footswitch at a really good price atm Quote
Sonic_Groove Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 Has anyone tried or got the line 6 JM4? it seems to have some good features & extras and it has recently come down to the price of the Boss & Digitech --- Not sure of the quality & sound though. Brendan Quote
