peety
Wonder if anyone here can help, we have had a request for this song for a wedding, but we are having no luck getting the music for it, tried all the usual places but can't find it anywhere wondered if any of the good people here may have either the sheet music or even chords for it would be very grateful as it would save us a bit of time. Oh and if anyone has a bass score or tab that would be even better ha cheers steve

Pete Academy
I've played this quite a few times. I always slap it, but I can never tell how it's played. On record it sounds amazing. Anybody know who played on it?
steve-soar
I use to have a lot of 4th and B'way records to hand, my best friend was a DJ in the 80's and has all this stuff at home, rang him but no credits on the singal or album, Just checking the producers out for any links to musos, could be a toughie to find the bassist, good call, classic tune. phagor
I usually play this with fingers, but pop the high notes. Great tune, great bass player, would love to know who he/she is.

rasher80
can someone help me? on Stuart's transcripton, between the standard notation and tab, there's a sequence of t s and p s which seem to be in line with the notes. my understanding of theory is zilch so i don't know what it means? I thought it might be instruction for slap, which i ain't too great on either

T = Thumbed P = Pull Or Popped. louisjohnson
