They are more of a high end guitar shop...but do stock Markbass etc etc

I've bought a Bob Glaub from there. I haven't used the website but the shop is top quality.

A great shop for guitarists with some very tasty stock. The bass section is much smaller, but often have some gems. Good knowledgeable staff and the mail order was good the one time I used it. Definitely worth a visit if you're out that way.

a guy I know spent a LOT of money with them and records no problem, but then again repeat custom does help dunnit?

They have a something my friend might be interested in bass wise....problem is....its a new bass, but the serial number they have given us puts it as an 06..which has all sorts of complications to any differences there might be with a newer model.

Still my fav music shop despite the prices creeping up a bit lately - ok for bass stuff but if you're a guitarist, it's like Aladdin's Cave.

Sounds great is my local music shop, I have been going in there for over 20 years, spent a fortune........F*** em! I've stopped going in there now. I find the staff a bit abrupt and miserable as sin. I now go to PMT in Salford, Friendly staff and better deals.

I bought and paid for a 51 reissue Fender P-bass back in 2004 from them. They charged the card and didn't have it in stock. 3wks later I got a full refund and no bass - only because I complained. Not impressed but reading this it seems that I was just unlucky. I bought that bass this year from soundslive and it is a firm favourite of mine.
