Some very good bass on your collection (Italia, Hofner, Shergold, Gibson, Danelectro ...)
When I see all that basses, I just said to me that it miss a Rickenbacker ! ^^

You can show some pictures of your shergold on the shergold porn thread if you want.

Never been a Ric fan, love the look but found the sound too limited for the styles of music I've been playing over the years, thats why I got the "Fenmanbacker" Ric looks with a Jazz neck and a Music Man pickup!

Here's my little lot, from left to right: Hudson Electro Acoustic, Squier 50th Anniversary P bought on here from CD_David - a set of Ernie Ball Hybrid's and a new switchcraft jack socket has made this one a 'keeper'. Fender Roger Waters Artist - very pleased with this, it has a big chunky neck and Seymour Duncans as standard. Also, note the brass nut, not common these days but gives it 'zing' on open strings. Last but not least, my mid-seventies Columbus Les Paul copy - a fine example of jap crap with issues: it's actually semi-hollow not solid and those are NOT humbuckers but single coils. Never the less I like it a lot (for a non-bass that is)!!!!

Just noticed that all my guitars are 'black'??? Should have polished them before I took the Pic!

Here they are:
Left to Right: Dean Edge q4 w/Bartolini pups
DeVille bass (purchased recently for £25, SoundControl before they went bust)
My pride and joy, a 2006 Warwick Custom Shop 5er Corvette $$ (would have the 5th string if the hot pink DR string wasnt too fat to fit through a Warwick saddle) - the custom bit is just the quilt top, she's the nicest balancing and sounding thing in the world, so versatile it's unbelievable, if you haven't tried this model yet, do so!
My first bass, a Cruise Crafter MM copy, equipped with Steve Harris sig strings (seriously heavy to play)

I'm unsure of the sofa's origins, other than the landlady got it for us when we complained about the old ones...
Like many people I started off with a cheap thing to practise on and when the finish started to wear thin I just got some cheap stuff to cover it with........

After I while though when I began to take life more seriously I had a proper refurb done

Can you believe it's the same one?

Anyway - nothing lasts forever so I got this last year

First 'off white ' one I've ever had but I never liked it from day one.

So - I just took delivery of a new chocolate leather 3 seater recliner - cost a fortune but it's ace.

BTW - sorry about the silly basses getting in the way of the pics.
I've seen a bass like the blue one in New York but the color was translucent gold. Price was 14'000 USD and it was in a sealed glass box.
Just took some pics of my basses on a settee for my gear thread and thought I'd post the group shot here too. :)

Hondo II P bass (gutted and I don't have all the bits here to re-assemble it), Sandberg MM5, Sandberg JJ5, Ibanez BTB406QM and a Washburn XB100 underneath.
That Sandberg MM5 is one of the sexiest basses I have ever seen. Mind if I ask what she cost?

I picked it up Tuesday for £800 2nd hand. New it probably would set you back a bit under £1400, they're incredible prices for what you get. The bass sounds amazing and plays beautifully. That picture really doesn't do it any justice either, the top is lovely and looks stunning against the body. In the forearm contour you can see both woods along with two laminates but due to the shine on the pic, they're not obvious. My VM Squire Jazz Bass. It was originally a fretless, but has been added a fretted neck and a nice tort pickguard.
You can see the three peice body quiet clearly, along with the knot! :)
Fitted with flats for a nice retro sound!! :)

Heres my babies :)

from left to right: Lindo Red Tiger 2009, Epiphone Blackbird, Legacy P bass replica.

The Lindo bass is probably my favourite at the minute, it plays really well and looks flippin awsome with the dove inlays that are on a lot of PRS guitars at the minute and the finish on the body is really nice too, the hardware on it is a bit naff but im planning on sorting that out soon :) it was only £60 brand new so I cant really complain.

They are far from being luxury basses but they are very pretty and play very well except the legacy, that's broke far beyond repair and is now my sons toy
