WOW! Small world. I did the mod in maybe 2004 or around there. I actually had two of the paisley basses. I bought one right when they first came out and then the second after about a year - some stores pretty much couldn't give them away (the finish is a love it or hate it thing) and I got the second one for, I think, $275 - brand new. I modded that one but then liked it so much I just sold the stock one. Have gigged it a lot.

You could’ve gone vertical, with the Wing horizontal on the foreground. More effort required, could do better (as my school reports often said) 😆.

 

Still a nice, eclectic collection, though.

Have gigged them all - with the exception on the Maton (yet) as it was a pandemic acquisition.

I had an RB4 exactly the same as your one. Fantastic sounding bass, none better IMO. If the nut width had been more P like, I’d still have it I reckon.

Thank you. It's an old Squire Jazz, Plays really nicely but the pickups are a bit weak. That's my next project. Might get a fretless neck for it too.  Bought it for £70 a few years back.

An eclectic bunch but all 4 string fretted. Shorties on the bottom, JMJ Mustang, Dano Longhorn and Mickey Way Mustang. Longies on the top, Status CW Sig, 2010 Ric 4003 and 2013 EBMM Sterling 4H.
