gary mac
.....but have decided I could do with a little chorus on a few numbers. I'm after recommendations on budget to mid price options. Thanks in advance
septicrat
Hi there. Boss super Chorus is a good one, better than the bass chorus imo. You dont neccesarily(I can never spell that word) a "Bass" version for chorus to sound great on a bass.
gary mac
Thanks for the advice. A tip from my old english teacher: necessary one coffee, two sugars!

Ive also been toying with the idea of getting a Chorus and do like the sound that comes out of the Boss Super Chorus. Not sure if i can find too many uses for it though. cheddatom
Get a whammy (XP 100 if you can find one) then you get chorus and fun pitch shifting.
dave_bass5
Ive just remembered i have a Boss Digital Dimension D pedal at home. Its a pretty subtle type of chorus but i may give it a go.

ahpook
my fave chorus is the old boss CE-2B - there's a few knocking round on ebay at the moment. solid as a rock and doesn't suck the low end too much unless you use extreme settings. FuNkShUi
Ive got the Boss Ce-2b. Its ok. When i got it i didnt really know what to expect, but i was underwhelmed to be honest. There just didnt seem to be a massive difference when the pedal was on, to when it was off IMO. I still use it, but i would like to have something a little more noticeable, so may be loking to change it soon.
EskimoBassist
I'm sure many will not agree with me on this forum, but I really quite like the Boss CEB-3. I know it's quite modern sounding, but it's been my staple chorus sound for nearly a year now, it's built like a brick sh*t house and they go very cheaply on this forum and on eBay.
