Jarhead
Hey, I'm looking for a wah that's very similar in sound to the one used on Anesthesia (Pulling Teeth). I already have a good fuzz, but I need a wah that can do those sweeps. I was thinking about the Morley Classic Wah, as I guess that would be similar to the one used, which I'm pretty sure was a Morley, but what do you guys recommend? YouMa
Dont go for an optical one get a mechanical one like a vox, burton used a guitar wah not a bass one as far as i am aware.
dudewheresmybass
the weeping demon is what i use to get close. it's about £110 retail, but deals are always to be found! It's probably the most adjustable wah i have seen (or heard!)
dannybuoy
I'd go for the Morley Power Wah. Cliff used an old chrome Morley Tel-Ray Power Wah Boost, they kinda rare but pop up on eBay every now and then. After those old chrome ones they sounded crap, but the models since 2006 have a new inductor that sounds a lot closer to the original. I've been thinking of getting one but don't know if I want one of those or a Wilson Vintage Spec 12-Position Bass Q-Wah or a Teese RMC3! Jarhead
Yeah, think I'll go with a Morley, I read up on his gear, and he did use a Morley Tel-Ray Power Wah, so I'll get either the power wah, or the classic wah, whichever I think sounds better when I try them. RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE
I met Cliff once, and I asked him about the effects I should buy. 'Get a phaser' was his reply

Jarhead
I would actually kick a panda in the face to meet Cliff. As soon as I have the money after getting my wah, I'm buying a phaser. It's what He would want :') Zach
