As I said last time someone posted a link to this bass, it works the wrong way for the fretless conversion - the fingerboard should rise up, not the frets drop down - and leaves you with much too high a fretless action.

It's a nice idea, but the implementation isn't right yet.

He also does a P and a J for $3200. I assume they also have the rotating frets.

Incidentally, I can understand why he trades as "Mikey Guitars". Imagine having to spell repeatedly the name CHTCHETININE. Poor sod.

Steinberger tried to do it around 20 years ago.
