Happy Jack
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SUPER-RARE-GIBSON-VI...=item25576b46f7 Quite apart from the ludicrous amount of money he's looking for (probably enough to fund an original 1958 EB1), the phrase "THE TELESCOPE IS ALSO MISSING" had me in stitches. For some reason, I keep thinking that my hovercraft is full of eels.
The Bass Doc
There's a 'Pirate' telescope on E-bay at the moment for £2.96 BIN incl. postage so I don't think it's a big deal if his is missing. Not sure if it will be compatible but no doubt a luthier and astronomer could get together and adapt the thing.
Bassassin
This may have been refinished in awsome matalic black, but regrettably the chip is missing from the bulkhead. What can you do? Jon.
Ou7shined
I've got a bag of them in the freezer. Perhaps we could do some sort of a deal?
Mr. Foxen
Do they mean the end pin? Guess they are kind of telescopic.
BigRedX
Yes he does. The EB1 has a telescopic end-pin that allows it to be played in an upright position. I saw this yesterday, but since I understood what he meant (plus I'm a bit dyslexic and it's exactly the sort of mistake I would make) I understood the meaning without realising there was anything wrong with the sentence. Happy Jack
Damn! It was much funnier before you posted that.
BigRedX
OTOH I still don't understand what the bulkhead with it's missing chip is all about.
