thumbo
Where's the best place to acquire a replacement power supply for a Digitech Whammy? I've had a search on the forum but couldn't see anything. I imagine this is quite a popular question since Digitech have been so awkward in making a power supply specifically for this pedal. bobbass4k
I thought I lost mine a while ago, because it's quite an odd spec I couldn't find a generic replacement, I found some pretty cheap on evilBay though
Kev
maplins ac-ac 1000ma power supply, better than the original Edited November 26, 2009 by Kev
thumbo
That looks ideal, thanks Kev. It's a shame I placed an order with Maplin only 2 days ago and I was wondering what I could add to it to get free delivery
thumbo
Is this the one you mentioned Kev? I see there's a few on there. Finbar
Ugh, no. I had a Maplins one. It was massive, heavy, took up space on my pedalboard and introduced LOADS of noise. effectspowersupplies have one which is smaller, cheap enough, doesn't take up too much room (it's a wall wart, but not a massive one), doesn't weigh a ton, and isn't noisy. Get that.
Stu-khag
I was going to ask the same question. Ive got a whammy xp collecting dust somewhere and lost the power supply ages ago. my line 6 power supply works with it though

No noise at all...pretty big though .
thumbo
The Maplin one sounds ideal, but it's not gonna do that annoying thing where you can't really plug things in next to it on a 4-way is it? That would be a problem!
