beerdragon Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 Just one picture and not much of a description, yet a hefty price. Beedster Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 Hugely overpriced for a '71, and Sir Elton ain't exactly known for his bass playing either Quote
steve-soar Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 I was once in the same room as Kurt Cobain, we were buying drinks at the bar of the Ramada Hotel in Reading after the 1992 festival, I said "Did you have a good time tonight", he said "Yes thank you, did you play today". I said "Yes", he said "That's great" and left the bar. I have a bass that was nowhere near this event, can I have an opening bid of say, £5000? Quote
Clarky Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 If it was played on the execrable "Nikita" it should have discount not a premium to the normal market price! Quote

Moos3h Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 Matthew Kelly once said I was 'sounding good'. I shall start bids on the Strat I was playing at the time, at $8,000. I accept Western Union. Quote
