Picture 4 shows the rear of the headstock, just where the flash hits, you can see a raised decal, as if to show a serial number; he claims it's 'an older usa neck' if it was older than the 1970's 'mahogany' body (*cough* - bullshit) it wouldn't sport a serial number on th back of the headstock.

Anyhow, it's a bit fugly.

I'm not that worried by it, but i think either the guy is misleading the 'budding Jaco' or has been mis-sold it in the first place.

Just thought i'd share it.

Sadly, it might have been at one time, but the lacquer job on that looks pretty dodgy....shame

i've never seen a fender neck with figuring like that before, they're usually far to cheap to actually use decent woods in their insruments from what i can gather, looks like a copy neck with fender tuners and a mahog body... (why mahog? looks nasty)
