Kinder Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 Hi guys, I'm making the long overdue step up from a combo. I've bought a Warwick X-treme 5.1 head and haven't a clue what cab(s) to put it through. I use a couple of Fender Jazzes and play rock with a bit of funk in small / medium pubs and clubs. All help will be really appreciated. Cheers Quote
Moos3h Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 New, I think Eden Nemesis cabs are VERY good, light (for their size) and capable of taking fair wattages. You'd get more for your money going used, in which case there's all sorts available. Budget? Quote

The head only cost me £160 second hand! Quote

I've a Tubepath 10.1 so know that the Warwicks are great if underestimated amps .... only selling mine cause I've a full valve rig now. Gigged/played Tubepath through Schroeder 410L (4Ohm) neo cab & was the best sound I'd ever had (until valve rig but that st me back + £3k !) .. cab is for sale btw but not cheap £600 (padded cover) .. Schroeders definately 'project' nicely & seem to punch thru mix well .. think there's a 1212L for sale on forum which might be worth a look ... here's mine btw http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...mp;#entry669073 cheers Si Edited November 30, 2009 by sifi2112 Quote
