molan Posted June 19, 2010 Posted June 19, 2010
That's why I kept my Markbass amps as well as the RH450 - the one sound that eludes the RH450 is that super hi-fi clean sound I can't get from my F500.
How does the WT compare in that respect Alan? It is like a cross between the RH450 (but not quite as warm/loose) and the F500 (not quite so hi-fi/sterile). The WT400 has a characteristic low mid 'lift' that really punches in a mix and outperforms any other Eden amp I have had/tried (I also owned a WT800B which did not sound as 'defined' as the WT400 - but was probably the loudest amp I have ever come across for out and out grunt). I might gve it a few outings again...... Quote
