harvey1-8
'Gibson bass' has to be one of my most used searches on ebay and most of the time I get the same old results. But not today... Bassassin
Victory Artist FTW. Had serious GAS for one for a while, you really don't see many. Shame there was never a JapCrap copy! :brow: Jon.
Shockwave
Been speaking to the guy with the Q-80, I am 100% sure its my old one. Hes asking a bit too much for it though, I would say its worth between £400 and £500.
Low End Bee
2 out of 3 of those hurt my eyes. The G3 looks OK though.

Of all the links I posted; the Victory does it for me the most. I'd like a Gibson Ripper over all of those though.

Cat Burrito
The G3 is the only one that is more my tastes, the first two are a bit too 80s for me. I perodically do EBay searches for Rippers and Grabers but I'm just window shopping really

AndyTravis
there is also ONE super 400 bass fretless, custom shop piece, think someone on talkbass owns it, among his huge gibson bass collection. neepheid
Anyone who likes a good solid sounding and different looking passive bass would be happy with a G-3. I know I'm happy with mine.

simon1964
The Victory is fantastic - have aways had GAS for one of these, although I've no idea what they sound or play like!

BigRedX
Gibson have made plenty of nice basses provided that you don't want a fender clone with Gibson on the headstock (which seems to be what people who don't "get" Gibsons want). personally I'm glad that they have the courage to do something different when so many bass manufacturers don't.
