gilmour
I've found an old stingray copy that I completeley forgot I owner, it's in quite a state - bascially unplayable I decided that to cure GAS perhaps I should re-finish and pimp this bass, make it usable again. Any way I've removed all of the parts, it has a string through bridge. On the underside of the bass are small metal tubes (i don't know what these are called) that the strings pass though. I was gonna post some digital photos but my camera is playing up I have no idea how to remove these - can anyone help? Thanks Rob
BigRedX
They're called ferrules You should be able to push them out from the top using something very slightly smaller than the top hole...
