umph Posted December 1, 2009 Share Posted December 1, 2009 my recomendations for that kind've sound on a bit more of a budget would be - soundcity 120's (bit smoother break up) simm watts 200watter heads, sunn 200s or similar heads (might be hard to get a hold of in the uk) essentially anything with lots of el34s / kt88s and a low gain preamp.
