The Bass Doc
The one basspartsresource sell is the standard earthing plate which would occupy both positions on a Jazz. The only difference on a 60s style bass is that the strip connecting the treble position one to the bridge must be added separately. It's only a strip of shim brass cut to length and can be easily duplicated once you have the right material (I've got some!).
gafbass02
Bummer, i bought one all made up not long ago from there, but they seem to be gone now, would that entail soldering the two brass parts together? The Bass Doc
Yes, as long as you can wield a soldering iron for pots etc. putting two bits of brass or copper together is a portion of urine.
The Bass Doc
Better idea - instead of paying money to basspartsresource, why don't I supply the bits cheaper? You see many moons ago some players who commissioned me to fit the likes of EMGs allowed me to keep bits like earthing plates since EMGs, active MECs etc. didn't require an earth path.
