Ashdown ABM 300 210T Combo + ABM 212 Cab

Recommended Posts

Hello all :)

Now as I have become a guitarist, I no longer need my beloved bass amps. Selling these to get a decent guitar amp.

COMBO:
The Combo has a few scraps, (a scratch in the Tolex and a bit of tipex on the back). Had one owner before me, gigged 5 times otherwise just used at home. Very good condition. Electrically it is all fine, the owner before me had the amps serviced and the tube changed to another of the exact same Ashdown use for this amp. Made in England before manufacture was shipped to the Far East.

CAB: Comestically not the best looking cab in the world, but probobly on of the best sounding ones. Bought from a user on here, who changed the speakers for Precision Device 12 speakers, They sound amazing. This model was one of first Ashdown made, so I doubt it'll be on there website. I did call them up once and they gave me all the relevent information about the cab that I needed at the time. I'm sure one could pester them again and get everything they need from there. Also made in the UK.

I'm looking to get around 250 for the Amp and 100 for the cab. Will only spilt if there is a buyer interested in both.

Ah ha, The Wayward Wanderer returns !!

If any of this gear is anything like the Ashdown amp you sold me.. then it'll be a complete lemon. Avoid.

No wonder you wanted to meet me in Portsmouth high street, without me seeing or testing it. Just a shame I was so utterly gullible.

No he did not. This is the first time i'm hearing about any of this.
As I told far0n we met in the high street due to the fact I live uni halls at the moment.
I would have been perfectly happy for him to try out the amp if i had a venue for him to do so at the time.
When the amp left my care it was in perfect working order, and it was a decent amp.
I have not heard any feedback from far0n on anything about this amp at the time or since.

For this sale, and to check that they are the genuine item, I'd say you try the amps before you buy, I will attempt to arrange somewhere where you can in the next couple days if there is still some interested in this amp.
Also added a price drop From 275 to 250 on the combo.
Pictures will be up on Monday.
