If he's using proper technique, then he won't have any throad problems at all. I know guys who scream properly who have less throat problems than people who sing with bad technique.

I gave him a few packs of Nigroids which were left over from my last attempt at lead vocals.

And yes, I understand. Most people's comments about metal follow the trend of butchered animals; normally cats.
