Fin
Hi there. Thought I'd take the time to introduce myself finally! I've been registered on this forum for yonks now and feel a wee bit cheeky. A bit voyouristic if you will! Time now to stop being rude and say hi. I've recently jammed with / re-joined my old funk band in liverpool after 5 years out of the loop. Silly enough to have joined the Navy and consiquently lost touch with my old pals and jam buddies. Mega rusty but never realised how much I missed it till I bumped into my pals again. Dead keen to get back into the swing of things. Never really wanted to get signed or anything, just wanted to make a racket and have a real excuse to go to the pub and play! Really enjoy bass players who can do it all but don't. You know the type. The ones who have the dexterity, tone and self control not to show off so much. Think I like bass players with taste more than anything else. My favourites at the moment are Juan Alderte, Justin Chancellor, Trevor Dunn and I always go back to Stuart Zender. I've been playing for about 12 years now and had a few basses over the years. Feel though I never held onto them long enough for them to grow on me. At the mo', I have a beat up Jazz and a Zoot performer and I play through an old GK 400RB with a Hartke 4x10. Keen to get hold of some new gear soonish. Itchy about a Lakland DJ4! Would be perfect for me. Thats all for now. As soon as I figure out how to put up a pic, I will. That way you can all see my ugly mug! I'm a bit hoop at this computer lark see. I'm much better with postit notes! Ta ta. Fin

Fin
Thanks MacDaddy! I'll do that as soon as I can. I'll try and find some sexy purple satin to drape over it with some subtle lighting effects to boot! Next to a log fire? Glass of red wine? Too much? I'll be back from deployment soon so will get cracking on some piccies then.
