It has a 6 string set of D'Addario half rounds on it at the minute (the B string is in the packet as I've been fooling around with the high C).

Internet price new (bet they're not in stock though) at GAK: £2249

That's lovely.

So's the bass - this has to be the nicest Yamaha I've ever seen. Have a bump on me.

Thanks, all PMs replied to... still looking for cash, jazz trade or a combination of both.

I've just received a furniture delivery so I've got plenty of packaging materials if anyone wants this sent via courier. I'm a good packager too; the last bass I sent got this reaction for the guy receiving the bass:

"I can’t imagine how long it took you to pack it – it took me half an hour to liberate it again! Bombproof is the only word I can think of."

Maybe not a tallent to brag about (or to impress the ladies with) but it's useful all the same.

I think I'm a Warwick magnet... I've been offered three in the same number of days... and yesterday I met a guy called Warwick, freaky! Maybe me and Warwicks are just meant to be. But for now I'm looking to sell the Yamaha but would consider a jazz bass as trade, but nothing else... I don't think.

Thanks for all the PMs so far.
Hmmm Lincoln eh!! Just down the road..

Neck radius please Mr PlayBass
According to this: http://www.soundslive.co.uk/product~name~Y...PII~ID~2922.asp
it's 20" or 500mm.

Another Lincoln-based basschater! You don't get many of those!

I've never looked into radius specs much to be honnest. All I know is that it's not flat like a Warwick and it's not overly curved. Seems fairly close to my American Deluxe Jazz, but maybe stretched to a 5 string? Hope this makes sense. Are you interested in the bass?

It's possible, I am looking for a good 5 but was looking to spend a little less than this as my current Bass buying exploits are running very! high. But you get what you pay for I guess.
I will see how I go over the next few days and keep watching.

thx again

The yamahas certainly are very well made, the construction seems flawless to me; there seem to be a few die hard TRB fans on this forum who'll back this up. Would be nice to sell it face-to-face to a local guy too of course.
